Neither!!! Unless you like expensive costers stay away from ritek and stick with Verbatim.
Also if your in the USA you can get a ten pack from OfficeMax for $19.99 this week.

I haven't used them but from what I've read they should be MKM.....001 the same as what I pointed out.
Maybe someone has some better info?

Taiyo Yuden- best by test (and by far).
Simply find a vendor close to you selling TY media.

Taiyo Yuden double layer ? Are they available ? I don´t think so.

Verbatim dl+ and Ricoh dl+ are doing a good job for me.

Maybe my answer is off topic because he is asking for dual layer. dl-

Yes, you are right... TY does not have any DL media available.
Traxdata (which are first grade Ritek ) are a good solution. But Traxdata are mainly available in Europe, maybe hard to find in the States.

I've heard good things about Verbatim DL media. Who is the original maker of their current DL media?

Seems I missed this sale at OfficeMax. Will have to keep an eye out.

All Verbatim d/l media that I've seen has been made by MCC at their own plant in Singapore.

MCC is Mitsubishi Chemical, yes? ... which I've heard is good media. However, like scarecrow, my preferred media is TY. Just wish they did dual-layer.
