      I have stopped making experiments...
My only choice currently are Taiyo Yuden printables, which work GREAT under any burner, and are really cheap ($26 per 100). I'm sure you can find cheaper ones, but the risk is simply not worth it...

I'm the same way scarecrow. IMHO TY media is the only way to go and is the only media I use for CDR and DVDR burning.

I usually wait until it is on sale at Best Buy and pick up a 4-5 50x spindles of Fuji media. Just make sure it's "Made in Japan" to ensure it is TY.

is fuji still the way to go for CD-R, esp for audio? i have used TDK for years but they have gotten worse in the past couple years. now they are made all slightly warped so if you lie them upside-down, flat on a table the center area is elevated from the outside, which can cause reading problems during the end of the disc on some players.

any recommendations for 50 or 100 pack spindles?

      thanks
