Verbatim DVD+R 8X Media and Sony DRU510a???
I know this is probably a stupid question but can I use 8x discs on my Sony? I've seen in the past a lot of the newer faster DVD media isn't backwards compatable, so I wasn't sure. TIA

YES should work but obviously only at your max burn speed allowed by the burner of 4x
