I would like to know which is the best and worst media to burn on

hmmmmmmm, it's a toughie but most seem to think Ritek (dark dye) is a good one to use

as to the worst it also depends on how your player deals with certain media dyes I suppose as some players will play everything you throw at them and some are fussy

One size does not fit all. Your burner make and firmware revision will have a big influence.
