Best DVD Media for viewing on home DVD Player?

Hey gang...just got a brand new Optorite 0401 DVD burner...anyone know the best media and which kind to use for backing up DVD movies...I have used 321 Studios DVD Xcopy express and it works very well...just need to know which dvd format is best on home DVD Players...thanks...I relatively new to this DVD burning.....have tried it on friends pc using my Xcopy Xpress with great results. Had no idea which type of media he was using...the disc was blank with no markings..I think it came with his new burner. Anyway.....thanks for listening.

Nice drive. I have the same one and like VIPER said Ritek is a great choice. If you look around the forum you will find a few post I did on different media this drive works well with. Also it will be nice when they release the firmware so it can burn @ 8x for - media. Good luck with it.

I can say that Bulkpaq x4 DVD-R Printable surface disc ProdiscS03 disc info work well on most burners and burns good at 6x and burns at 8x on some x8 burners...I know some using these disc on a Optorite drive and still happy with the end product.
Sorry these are the tubs of 25 with a orange label inside the tub.
