Picked up a few cased 3 packs from POUNDLAND (UK cheap store chain) - at a pound/3 slimcased CDs.
... I'm not kidding - Poundland = EVERYTHING priced at £1 - including (also at the one I went to) a FM autoscan Radio / LED Torch (several designs), comination pack of CD cleaner and drive cleaner/(killer) - and even some DVD movies for a a pound each (somewhat bizarre selection).
Mitsubishi Black Diamond 52x (I though they were the real bargain, but I later find that the 52x are said to be PLASMON).
Grundig 48x (made in singapore) - I wonder if that was a mistake.
Planning on checking out the "bargain drive" with them - not got round to testing it yet, as Nero hit me with a bug, and I didn't want to throw another variable in to the mix - damn lucky I hadn't changed drives before that, or I'd have been blaming the drive for the problems.
