Please can any one help Im having problems using + media on a combined DVD+/- burner, the disks seem to burn but then will not read At all.

Aspi layer is installed running XP burning software:- DVD Copy, Instant Copy, DVD XCopy xpress and Nero 6Welcome. I think you should include more info.

I would first shut off XP burning software you will find around the forum most member agree on it causes problems. Second what can't read it the burner your stand alone player?
Plus disks (I've Made) won't read on DVD burner, DVD Rom, DVD player (which does play minus disks)
Could be faulty batch of +'s. Wot brand/make/dye are the +'s ?
Have you managed to burn any +'s successfully ?
Try DVD+RW's before you scrap too many.
Make of burner ? firmware version ?
The Burner is an Optorite DD0203.
Firmware version 2.25.
The problem occurs on all the brand of disks I've used including 2.4 speed Ritek
Is there a FIRMWARE upgrade for your burner? If so, then upgrade.
I would simply use DVD-R blanks then if you know they work, why even try using +R stuff as they tend to be less compatable with DVDR Players anyway.
