      Unhappy recording problem.

      Hello I have a pioneer 106 and have tried burning dvd films using clonedvd and anydvd onto bulkpaq orange disks at 2x and 4x the films play ok untill they get to the end and break up is this a disk problem or software problem thanks.

      The media is your problem <> Bad media always causes problems at the end of a disk.
      I use Ritek but If u use cheapo's u get bad results.

      Another tip is when compressing your DVD before burning make it around 4.3 GB then U will not burn right to the edge of a DVDR & it will lessen the chance of films being crap at the end.
      Of course another thing causes no ending & that is a greasy thumbprint on the edge of the DVD.

      This list has them as a 50/50 for the 106 though ok for the 105.

      The profile for Bulkpaq in this list is looking very similar to PRINCO - ok for the FEW drives that like them, but pretty poor in anything else.
