      cdr?

i was wondering if anyone had tried or could tell me what they thought about anout these 2 cdr's :

      infiniti white top 80min - 48 speed

discrite swirls white top - 48 speed

i saw an offer for these 2 each for around the £160 mark in 1000's.(inc p&p)

my other choice was verb datalife plus azo 700 for £170.(inc p&p)

i cant make my mind up as iv never read any reviews in the 2 brands.

tho i am leaning towards verb.

      anyone?

A friend of mine has had a couple of 100-tubs of Infiniti white top with no problems - they take labels well, as against some cheap silver unbranded that have a tendency to de-laminate.

The AZO Verbatims? - some drives like AZO, some don't

If they are like these (Super AZO)

The Liteon can't burn them with any satisfaction at 48x - at 40x, the error rate spikes at the end, and at 32x the results are looking usable.

As mentioned in the conclsion, the Liteon is not great with AZO dye media. The final extra test (16x in a Plextor) is much more satisfactory.

You really need to obtain a sample quantity first, and assess the C1 error rate when burned at your intended speed.
