      dvd rip

      Hi I ripped scary movie 2 with smartripper and then burned it back to dvdr plays ok in pc. but won't play in stand alone dvd player know the media is compatible have i done summit wrong

      hmm ... did u strip something ? I mean .. u burned only the main movie or ?

      If yes ..read the tutorial u have to use Ifo Edit ...

      opened smartripper went to b/up ripped the selected vob files to hard drive then copied vts folder to dvdr with primo dvd

      what dirs r on your disc now ?

      your dir has to be VIDEO_TS ... put vobfiles in it and burn ...

      Folder where files are ripped to is called video_ts then I dragged that into primo then burned with default settings does folder need to be authered

      hmm .. I don´t know if it has to be written VIDEO_TS ...

      open WinExplorer .-.. make a screenshot of your disc ... (directory)

      try Nero... I´m not experienced with Primo

      TRIED IT IN NERO THIS MORNING IN UDF/ISO FORMAT ONTO A R/R
      worked alright for pc will try this way when I get another film. will post my results

      Have got 5.578 will do a copy in dvd project in udf/iso format to dvdr and see if it will play in stand alone dvd player getting expensive though

      use same settings like me (in the tutorial) and nothing is wrong .. tutorial is also based on nero ver *.7.8..

      hmm.. I know such coasters r expansive ... but for testing I use DVD-RW ... cheaper than too much coasters ... and RW also works in my standalone player ..

      where is tutorial do u use udfiso setting i burn to r/w first but stand alone don't recognise them
