Blank scene beginning of the DVD.

Sorry if i put this Q in wrong Sub-forum. not sure where to Ask.

I have Some dvd and i try to rip this dvd to my hdd for some reason and covert it to divx.
I have tried with several dvd rip apps but none can rip this dvd correctly.
the problem is, when rip, there is a particular blank screen beginning of this movie for around 3 second and the movie audio/video syncronize get lost.
it is some kind of protection for blocking copy. but when i play this original dvd with any dvd player application, its play perfectly, no blank scene.
only problem is when ripping.
I have also tried with cut the bigging of this dvd but same result.
I have also copy the VOBS (VTS_01_1.VOB to VTS_01_4.VOB, each .99 GB) to my HDD, convert of this files but same result.

so do anyone have any idea how to rip those dvds?

Also need to mention, those dvds are pirated dvds. maybe cloner don't want anyone to copy there dvds.
