Audio Problem

I wonder if anyone can help me.

I have rcently ripped a music DVD to my hard drive with DVD decrypter and split the individual videos into single mpeg files using Video Redo Plus.

So far so good as they all play very well in WMP 10 on my pc.

However, when I go to play them via my xbox 360 extender, the videos appear but there is no sound. This baffled me for a while but after searching various forums I discovered that the xbox extender doesn't support the LPCM soundtrack.

Undeterred, I tried both Windows movie maker and Intervideo Win DVD to covert them into a format that would work. Whilst they both produced videos that worked, I found that both the audio and video quality was poor in comparison to the original.

I was wondering if anyone couild suggest an alternative that would mainatin the original quality and convert the files into format that still used mpeg for the video but perhaps mp3 or something other than LPCM for the audio.

Many thanks.

I thought the 360 plays dvd's. If so then use any dvd burning software to create a video dvd.

Hi

The 360 does play DVD's and it plays this one fine.

However I have a lot of music videos on my pc and wanted to add these to my collection and play them via media centre as individual videos and not from the dvd. The Xbox 360 allows you to wirelessly stream music and video from the pc (which is in a different room) to the tv.

Whilst this has been fine for all my other music videos, it appears that the xbox wont wirelessly stream sound in LPCM, which is why I need to convert these particular videos.

Ideally I'm looking for something that will convert MPEG videos into a high quality WMV file with stereo sound.
