I would just use DVD Decrypter in ISO mode. As the original is on DVD-R there should be no problems as the size cannot be more than 4.7G.

I've found Nero works perfectly.Just select dvd copy, copy from your writer to your writer, a bit slower but a more reliable read.

yeh this is true ,but you cant copy an original dvd through nero because of the copy protection.
as my freind above suggests, use dvd decryper, this will do a straight copy keeping all menus ect,as long as it is under 4.7 gig.

Yes but most current movies take 2 blanks to copy with this software. The cheapest & easiest way if the movie is under 4.5gb is with DVDDecrypter.

if u are talking about to copy DVD-Video SMALLER than 4.5 Gb or about a burned DVD-R, that's true ... and i agree 100% with you ... but u can't fit all files of a DVD-Video LARGER than 4.5Gb into DVD-R/RW/+R/RW media without an especial app, like DVDxCopy or DVD-Clone (and in just case you will use 2 blanks media)
Btw, i still prefer ifoedit/CCE or ReMpeg2 method to get it...
