      Question Procoder -> DVD Producer

      I'm attempting to use Procoder ver. 1.01.35.0 to encode DV-captured *.avi's for import into DVD Workshop ver. 1.3 for menu creation & final DVD burning.

      When I encode a multiplexed file with Procoder at the "highest quality" setting and single-pass vbr set to 4500/7000, the result is a (gorgeous) *.m2p file which, unfortunately, crashes (or perhaps more accurately, closes) DVD Producer when I try to import it.

      Would I have better luck encoding elementary streams and will DVD Producer automatically associate the correct audio file with its video file? Should I be using a different burning program altogether?

      Thanks.

      Exclamation (follow-up)

      Ok, I tried importing a much smaller *.m2p into DVD Producer and it seemed to work fine. My question now is what is the maximum imported file size allowed by DVD Producer?

      (Sorry for the hastiness of the previous post, although I would still be interested in an answer to the multiplexed vs. elementary stream question.)
