If it fits, I just go right to nero,I only use IFO edit if it only needs some audio ripped out to fit on a DVD-R. Otherwise, take the rip and burn it. Hopefully you used Smart Ripper or DVD Decryptor to rip the movie, to decode, de-macro, etc.

If after ripping the DVD to hard drive, there is enough space to burn to DVD-R..Is it necessary to use IfoEdit? Or can I just burn using Nero? Also if there's enough space, can I rip the chapter VOB and burn it as well or is there some authoring that has to be done? Sorry for all the questions, but DVD back-ups are new to me...I just got my burner yesterday.
Thanks in advance for any responses to my questions....I've learned more here than I thought possible.
