      hi all..
      is sonic scenarist a programme to get the size of dvd files onced they have been ripped? if so where can i download it?

      hmm ???

      Sonic Scenarist is an authoring application
      --> creates Ifo and Vob Files out of your mpg2 + audio stream...

      thx for reply m8.. as a newbie to dvd ripping i have done a couple of copies and they are still to big for dvdr..
      so is this the programme i am after?

      hmm...

      not really ...

      1. take a look at IfoEdit --> allows u to strip extra audio .....and other stuff
      2. if your files r still to big .... u have to reencode the movie + author it again (Scenarist = authoring software)

      as i said earlier total newbie here ! i used ur guide which was first class.. but the end product was still to big!
      so i need TOTAL laymens terms for encoding is there a SIMPLE tutorial on how to get the size down?

      hmm... u can use my tuts --> if u combine them they will explain all ...
      1.DVD2AVI + Vfapi con
      2.CCE --> reencoding
      3.Scenarist
