      Can VOB's be transcoded/downsampled?

Can VOB's be transcoded/downsampled?. I'd like to rip a whole dvd intact with the menu's/chapters etc (like the recent SW Episode2 dvd-r). I'm assuming that i'd have to downsample the video, ditch the unwanted audio tracks, etc to make it all fit..

The best thing is to keep only the movie because if you keep the menus and the extras you'll have to downsample more and more so the quality will be bad , try to keep only the movie with ifoedit and if it wont fit's use rempeg to downsample it a little bit.
