      Question Burning DVD Video Question

When using Nero to burn a DVD, why can't you use data DVD option and create Audio and Video directories placing all of the necessary ifo and bup and vob files in video directory? Why is there a special DVD Video burning option under Nero and what extra things get burned to DVD versus using data burning option?

      Thanks in advance.

If I am reading you correctly you can.

It is just that if you use the DVD Video option additional checks are made on the files that you select to try and make sure that they comply with DVD film standards.

Also I think nero automatically selects other options such as the filesystem which is required to improve compatibility with standalone DVD players.

      it´s like Taz said ....
you can do it ...but why ?
If u use earlier versions of Nero u have to do it your way ..cause there wasn´t a DVD-Movie project ... but there were problems with the UDF filesystem (compatibility)
