my DVD player isn´t able to playback mp3s which r stored on DVDR ..only MP3CDs .... I think that´s the prob..your player doesn´t support mp3onDVDR...

      Cheers

Sorry mate I usually use the search facility but was having one of those days.

Thanks for the reply, it's a shame that the player will not perform this task as i have 15gb worth of mp3 music to backup.
      Well back to cd burning

I doubt this is what you have in mind but you could always convert your mp3's to DVD compatible audio such as DD2.0 or MPEG-1 Layer II and use an authoring package such as Maestro to create some menus to alow you to navigate the DVD-R and select which track you require.

I say I doubt this is what you have in mind because with 15 Gig I expect you'd have a fair amount of work as for starters your mp3 files would need to be converted to 48 Khz in a suitable format.

The advantage would be that your music DVDs would be playable on any DVD player and you could also include pictures or video clips along your audio.

I've only put 'A kind of Magic onto a rip of Highlander but it worked a treat.

If you have major problems using Maestro send me a PM and i'll try to stear you in the right direction.

Mine is a Cyberhome Ad212-about a year old. It will play a data dvdr, dvdrw or cdr with mp3 files on it. It will also play american ( region 1) or any other regions dvds.
It also seems to be very happy to play dvdr with movie or dvdrw with same.
