is ther a boot disk or program that you can burn to a dvd that will make it play copied dvds..player is a LG..and it will not work at all with copied dvds..

I think this player isnīt able to read DVD-R/RW +R/RW ... thatīs it ..

I think elpresidente hit the nail on the head.
I have an old Mat****a DVD-Rom SR-8582 which isn't compatible with DVD-R/RWs.
To test this you could try reading a DVD-R data disk or try the attached Nero Info tool to check your drive.

Pretty sure you can chip your dvd player aswell to make it multi region.
