Thumbs up

Great work psx_paul !!
I had tried using nero and dvddecrypter to make and burn an iso of 'The getaway' but kept burning coasters and decided to give this a go and surprise surprise it actually worked ! i had the prog already but was not familiar with how to build an image with it.

However i have a question , why do different burning progs have differing results ? if the result is to make an exact image of the source disk should they not be all the same ?

You may say that it is in the way that the disks are burned but are disks not all burned in the same way ? ie. by the laser in the dvd burner ?How does the software affect the laser burning ?

Harry Potter is CD-Rom based. The best method of CD-Rom PS2 backup is to use CloneCD.

yep, you will need your original to read through CloneCD from the start.

Hi,

I made backups of myself original PS2 DVD Games using the "Make a Copy" (I think this is what appears on the button) option of the RecordNow Max.
Direct copy from my DVD Reader Pionner to my Sony 500 recorder.

This rocks. Great tutorial. First time I've ever got a good disc on a first time burn. 20 for 20 so far not one coaster.
