Question HELP audio out of sync when encoded to dvd from divx

Hiya can anyone help me, i've never had this problem before, I have encoded a divx to dvd using dvd2svcd when I play the divx in media player before encoding it plays fine audio is in sync, however when I convert to dvd the sound is out of sync. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Have a read of http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=10651 and in partticular the use of AC3 Delay Corrector (assuming your audio is AC3).

sync problems

Thanks chickenman I will give it a try, I was looking at that thread last night but wasn't sure if it was the right one to try. It was a bit frustrating its the first time it has happened after encoding. I checked the avi file that came back as having no errors.

hi, thanks for all your help, I thought I would let you know. I re-encoded using winavi and the audio is perfect, totally in sync with the picture.
