Great, burned dvd to vcd but how do I ...

I used Dvd2Svcd and it worked fine. I have the movies on my harddrive. It put it into two(2) Mpeg movies parts. Each Mpeg is 794mb, I have 80 minute Cdr's, which are only 700mb. How do I burn the Mpeg's onto a Cdr if it only holds 700mb? I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

i would say 794 MB's on a 700MB CD is impossible , you will have to split them up into 700mb files or buy some 800MB CDRs

    3. u could use Nero to overburn 700mb cdr. I did overburn 823mb on SmartBuy 700mb cdr before without any problem. u can simulate the burning on your cdr see if it fixs all 794mb into your 700mb cdr

794 meg will fit onto an 80 min CD ! Believe it or not but it will just squeeze on. A SVCD or VCD stores it data to CD as Mode 2 Type 2, the cd limit is quoted as if stored as Mode 1.

Just use Nero to burn the file as a SVCD to an 80min CD and all will be fine.
      Cheers,
