pissed off by macrovision on divx rips

just draged off a "fast & the furious" - divx rip but i can't play that sh*t over video-out of my nvidia card because the riper forgot to disable macrovision.

so the question: is there any bloody possibility to get rid of that macrovision afterwars. any ideas?

second, how do i get the best possible quality (like svcd made by tmpg) of divx movies?

      thanx

There are no provisions in DivX for storing Macrovision protection. If the DivX plays okay on the PC then the problem lies with your Nvidia card or a crappy cable.

As for DivX to SVCD, just follow the DVD to (S)VCD tutorial, but load in the DivX file instead of DVD Vob files. Make sure DivX Codec is installed & dont forget to Noramlize Audio (in Audio tab)
      Cheers,
