    1. Ripping audio from a DVD

      Hi guys,

Can somebody tell me what software I need to rip the audio tracks from a DVD so I can burn the audio to a CDR. A brief note on how to do it would be useful as well!!!!

      Thanks guys!!!

There are many ways to do this but a simple way is firstly have a read of the DVD to (S)VCD tutorial. You basically rip the DVD to your HD witrh SmartRipper then run DVD2AVI (but do tick 48 -> 44.1 on so that it will convert it to standard CD audio. This creates a WAV file of the whole DVD.

Then burn the big WAV to Audio CD using your favorite burning software.

You could also edit it in your favorite Audio Editor as well if you want to chop it up into pieces as well.
      Cheers,
      CM

    3. Thanks Chicken man - I'll give it a go and see how I get on!
