JNL 7003 DVD Player Region/Macro codes

Hi,

If anyone is interested or is looking for these, then here they are.
Both are input with the remote keypad numbers with the player drawer (tray) open. You may have to turn power off and then back on for the second code to work. I did.

1 .To make the player multi-regional, open the tray and enter 8421. You will get a menu that lets you select regions for 1-8 or all. Select what you want with the enter button and then close the draw and then you can play anything from anywhere. I selected all so that I wouldn't have to do it again.

2. To enable/disable macrovision, open the tray and enter 45611 with the number keys. Press the enter button to toggle between on and off. I really think the code is 4561 but JNL says its got 2 ones in the number. On my player it comes up on the first 1. There is another code which is 45610 for on. I haven't tried that as the first one toggles on and off.

This does work. I have 2 VCR's and one is affected by macrovision. It isn't anymore *S*

Hope this helps someone out there if only for reference purposes.
