All my m2v files are MPEG2 video only.
Try loading it into NanoDUB (get from w*w.doom9.org ) and then look in File Information. If it says no audio, then there is no audio. Have a look for an AC3, MP2 or MP3 file at the source of your M2V file.

Hi folks can someone please help. I just downloaded tombraider.m2v, but can't get any audio.
I installed DivX and powerDVD 4.0 and also the elecard player. I get great video, but no audio. When I look at the movie properties there is no audio codec associated with it. I'm not sure if it is the .ac3 codec or not. Also how do I register a codec to run with it? Using regsvr32 just registers the codec, but how do I get my player to know which is the right audio codec to load?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Santa
