DVD\SVCD Player - Recommendations?

Would welcome recommendations re. a dedicated DVD with SVCD compatability for a dedicated home entertainment system.

Want to create SVCD's on the PC and also play these in my home entertainment system. If anyone especially has an idea re DVD/SVCD players available in the New Zealand market - would be apppreciative.

Hi Kiwi, welcome to the forum. We will keep the sheep jokes to a minimum! lol

I have a Hiteker (Apex in the US) and of all the various models now made, they all play DVD/SVCD/VCD/MP3.CDR/CDRW without a problem and are very competitively priced. Macro disabled and Multizoned as well. I would recommend the new small Hiteker 1000, should be about NZ$300.
