What about sub-titles

I have gone through the tutorials and it does not mention anything about sub-titles. How do I rip sub-titles and make it work on the final product (VCD, say)

No mention of sub-titles as the DVD2AVI/TMPGEnc method cant do subtitles. If you need subs, try the FlaskMPEG 0.6 with the Panasonic Plugin method.
