(back up from an original cd that you 'bought' from ur local store)

WOW! thats nearly as easy as 'backing up' a pc game !
All i need now is a pre-chipped PS2, and a dvdwriter... hmm... anyone know if chipping ps2's is still legal in the uk ?

There is NO law in the UK that says U can make a copy for your own use BUT There is NO law that says U cant so we in UK are in limbo but it is generally accepted U can back your own stuff up

as far as i know POACHER backups for personal use are acceptable so long as you own the original been a long time since i looked into the laws on that here but as far as i know they still stand as that !!?
 Besides the breach of the law is not the disk itself its the duplication of the SONY logo/copywrite symbols and Trademarks mainly !? in particular the BLUE text disclaimer at the bootup of each game oddly enough !! (thats what i was told when a few friends did some time at her mage's pleasure doin porridge  ) So if you legit own the disks u duplicate then possibly its deemed that just 1 copy is acceptable no more!
