Sony to introduce rewriteable DVD player to PS2's in Japan

According to Forbes,Sony will start shipping Playstation 2 devices that will be able to also read DVD recordable discs. According to the article the current Playstation 2 is only able to read DVD-ROM discs. The news gives Sony also a reason to increase the price of the Playstation 2 in Japan with about 1000 yen.

so guess what you will be able to play yer OWN homebrew DVD'S on DVDRW
