Unhappy Tekken 4 + Stuntman backup probs PLEASE HELP>>>

HEY GEEZERS...im having problems backing up a couple of games i`ve just rented from b****buster video, tekken 4 and stuntman,i`ve done three backups so far and all work fine, tho they were only 2.5GB in size as these two are 4.17 and 4.24GB,is this the problem or is it something im missing, when i put the copied disks into the ps2 it just goes to the screen which says insert ps2 format disk...im using fantom cd and pioneer 104 writer, making an image then burning it back to dvd-r (same media as those others that worked so its not the disks)its a new ps2 with a magic chip fitted,im new to ps2 backups so PLEASE HELP.

if ou are on win 98 you must copy on the fly as you cant create an image over 4gb try using nero and decent quality blanks

NTL Broadband read all about it Here, not on NThelL? if they succeed how long before other providers follow suit?
