ps2 model numbers?

can anyone tell me the model numbers of ps2's for the uk and there version numbers ,i hear a lot of people saying version 4,5,6,7 but do not know how this relates to the console model numbers?i'm trying to install a messiah chip into a ps2 that was bought as a gt3 pack scph35003,i'm hoping this is a v5

I'm not UK, but as far as I know, the GT3 Packs are either v4-Rs or v5-Rs.

You can examine the expansion bay for an extra screw that isn't inside the 4 series. It will be at the top of the bay, toward the middle. If you have this screw, then your console is a v5.

Either way, I believe Messiah should work.
