nope, about the 20th playstation 2 no solder modchip all work to some degree or another but almost all are based around the old neo 2.2 code (which is free if you want to burn your own modchip)

here, i'll give it to you, all three versions (pal, ntsc, jap) with fitting and docs, now you realy have no excuse

I've been using this chip for about 2 months now. Works fine, for a swap mod chip. The only problem I've found is it doesn't play DVD rips. It's supposed to to DVDr but I dont have any to test. Easy to install and cheap too. Only draw back is the swap, but you get a AR2 and you get all the codes as well. Over all good cheap option for thoese that want to play back ups and dont want the large outlay of getting a messiah or magic chip installed, or thoes that are not confident to solder one in themselved.
