    1. DvD-r Booting

OK first things first, i have a neo 2.2 chip installed and ar2 v1.9. I know how to boot a dvd using first an original dvd with a bigger toc than the dvd copy i'm booting so i don't need an explanation booting that way.

I know you can do dvd rips etc. The thing which i am unclear about is this. Can you mod your dvd backup so you don't need an original dvd with a big toc to enable you to boot your copy? This seems logical since you can take the dvd check out of the discs when you rip them to cd. I'm just intersested to know if anyone has done this and if so how they done it.

I'm getting a messiah chip this week so this is just a question to set my mind at ease, any possitive replys will be welcome.
