      Unhappy Ps2 Ripping

      IVE BEEN TRYING TO BACK UP MY PS2 GAMES AND AS YOU CAN GUESS BY THIS POST IVE HAD NO LUCK. IVE BEEN TOLD THAT I NEED A DVD WRITER (I WILL BE BUYING ONE NEXT WEEK). ALSO IM TOLD THAT THAT THE GAMES NEED TO BE RIPPED SO THEY WILL FIT ON A NORMAL 80 MIN CD. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY CLUE HOW TO DO THIS. OR KNOW WHERE I CAN GET AN IDIOTS GUIDE.

    4. yes you can rip dvds to cds. there is no generic or simple way to rip dvds to cds as lots of games use file different formats that are specific to the game itself. unless you have vast knowledge in downsampling,relinking and reindexing then i wouldnt bother.

      thanks for that XxR0ckMAnxX. so would you say its best to record stright to dvd-r ?.

    6. yes its always best to get a dvdr unit and burn away. ripping dvds to cds will only ruin your gaming experience with missing music and movies.

      keep in mind there are tons of cd games out there.
