      Try this...

Hey Viper try this website and maybe you can find it of some help... I did but unfortunately all these modchips seem to suck... like the Messiah Modchip the one every1 is interested in... I checked all sites that carried it and it seems like none of them have it in stock, instead it says Pre-order it... and that has been on there for like the past year... you could try others but you'd have to get a gameshark or action replay and do the little swap thing and then you have all this other stupid stuff that comes with it.. I honestly don't see a point to get a chip yet... I mean it's a great idea, because I have one on my Playstation, but also for PS2, you need dvd-r's mostly to play the backup games and that's just asking for a bit of money and hassle, if you're all in for it though (and it will pay off in the end) and you can find a site that sells a good chip for no BS... then do it... however in the meantime check this out and this might solve the question for your version stuff!

      No problem! =)

    5. the messiah modchip that NavySEALer describes is a great mod, at the same time it is in great demand. a new ntsc version of the chip should be out very soon. also the developer is looking into another actel chip that should significantly drop the price of the messiah mod. in addition to that there are a few messiah clones surfacing as of late.

Yes XxR0ckMAnxX I have looked into getting a messiah chip. Only prob iz that 1. $$$ 2. They Never have any of the darn things. So your saying they're coming out with a "Messiah 2" chip?

    7. a messiah1 built specifically for ntsc(U.S.) consoles should be coming out soon as they are investigating the new 39001 unit. currently there are only two official resellers of the mod endorsed by the messiah crew. there is also word that the messiah team will be using a different actel chip with simillar secruties but at a much lower cost, making the messiah drop in price significantly.

the messiah 2 is not slated for release for some time but it will be fully featured with dvd region free, playing all imports, backups, dvd-r discs and a few other optimizations.

Sounds almost impossible... my bad, heh... they don't seem to have an installation manual either... I guess.

well they have a(n) installation guide for the messiah chip but some of it is hard to understand. Anyone recomend a chip for my PS2?

    11. yes it is sure not easy to install a messiah as many of the points are directly to the bios. there will be a clip coming out soon. it will require you only two attach two pieces of ribbon that a two year old can install and then solder only 2 wires.

Sounds great... when do you think they'll be planning to have it cause I know as already mentioned, they need new shipments of messiah's cause of the high demand so it seems like it will be much longer after they finally get the shipments in on the chips to come out with new wiring abilities... you think??? Other than that it sounds awesome!! Definately looking forward to!
