      Exclamation ZoneAlarm v3.7.098 out

      New ZA update/release available: v3.7.098

      Add. inf.:

Completely f**ks up W2K when installed:
      a. Boot time increased 4 times.
      b. After boot no progs will run.
      c. Trojan remover and Spybot crashes

      - just to mention some of the fun I had after running the update.

Grab the update from zonelabs and have fun

Sorry to hear your troubles bud.

Sad to say, but these sort of bugs put me off of ZoneAlarm completely. I now use Kerio Personal Firewall (version 3.0 beta 5 ). I've been using Kerio for about a year and it's been smooth sailing. Simply excellent Firewall!

Yep, I gave up when V3 came out because of cr@p like that m8.

As dxkim said, use Kerio or even Sygate Pro. Much, much better.

Another VERY happy Kerio user... and also some pennies richer.

I am trying the Kerio shareware now... just installed it!
Can someone tell me how to block certain sites and how to stop programs from auto updating?
      Is this possible with Kerio?

      Kerio versus ZA

Yeah, I know about Kerio. (Had a lot of talk about it in this forum about 1 year ago). I tried it, but found it far to difficult to configure correct for a novice like me, - even though I read all instructions carefully, incl. the Kerio forum. That's why I'm still with ZA; it's easier to configure.

BTW, the ZA update works as long as you don't update . Uninstall old version > make clean install of new version and it's OK. Serial from your old version is accepted.
