      It finds a lot of entries in the HKCR section relating to exe and dll files that are still present. Supposedly it's safe to remove these entries (green indicator). Can this be right?

      Those entries are mainly used by Windows to create the list of programs for the Open With menu (ie. the menu you'll see when you double click a file of an unkown file type).

      If you remove those keys with the PT you will just have a few more programs in the Open With menu, that's all. But I did change the scan procedure a bit (in 1.3 Beta, you can get it from my forums at jv16.org) so it doesn't add any DLL files to the Open With menu.

      So, it's really up to you, those keys don't really do much but they are not harming anything either. Some people might want to remove those keys, I didn't remove mine.
