      VirtualDub-MPEG2 v1.4.13
This is a wonderful VirtualDub Mod made by fccHandler which adds MPEG-2 support for VirtualDub, as well as direct AC3 support (through the use of ac3dec) which lets you directly open VOB files in VirtualDub, and convert or serve them to anywhere, without the need to use AviSynth/DVD2AVI/VFAPI etc.

This link (also from the Unofficial VirtualDub Support Forums) gives links to all the "known" VirtualDub Mods.

IMHO, VirtualDubMod has become the leader of all these Mods because it now contains most features of the other Mods in one handy package. The developers have also changed some of the menus to make them clearer.

This file is absolutely excellant. After first installing virtual dub 13
extracted above patch to the virtual dub directory and removed virtual dub.exe, leaving "mpeg2 virtual dub.exe"
All normal functions of virtual dub fully working but now "vob" files can be opened.
Tried merging 3 vob files and then frameserved to CCE.
Where normally have a degree of mpeg artifacts using dvd2avi/avisynth or vfapi this time the video is sharp and clear
and the audio is in sync.

      a truly excellant post.

      Many thanks

      Download VDub-1.4.13-MPEG2-AC3.zip

      I cannot download this VDub-1.4.13-MPEG2-AC3.zip.

      Page(s) expired or something.

Can anyone post it here as attachement.

      Thx.

      P.S. I have one from doom9 VDubMod-1.4.13.1 without AC3, and Avysinth.
