Agree on that,dave.....the only reason I collect these codecs packs,is that they sometimes contain difficult to find ones....

I must agree, I use it with caution and for NEED to have, not NICE to have codec..

Uninstall the package.
As with all codec packs, only install what u need.
Many codecs conflict to mess up your media players and encoding.

Exactly.......A long while ago,my PowerDvd frooze up right from the start......uninstalled and reinstalled a few times,nothing helped,it was Ace'sMegaCodecsPack that messed up......since then, I use only the codecs I need..
ooooooopsie too late lol so far so good lol *gets the backup disks ready just in case !!*
