      Lightbulb Pc Cleaner 3.5.1.615

PC Cleaner is a program that will let you keep your PC clean using three strategies:

      1. Cleaning temporary files and folders.

      2. Removing those DLLs in Windows System folder that appear to be left by an uninstall program.

      3. Finding if there exists more than one copy of a certain DLL in the system and letting you use the newest version of them if this happens.

By performing these cleaning jobs (called finders) it is possible to get a more clean system. PC Cleaner does not delete completely anything; the temporary folders and files are sent to recycle bin and the DLLs that this program removes are backed up first, so that there's allways a way back for all operations. Before deleting these backups or flushing the recycle bin, you should make sure that your system is working smoothly.

Not yet m8, still having heap loads of trouble after Acronis Privacy Expert that I was trying out screwed my system up.

Sometimes you try out some new software and think, why, why did I?

System not turning off Bro or taking like 4 mins to do so even on re-boots too, slowed system right down too. I tried it on XP on a dual-boot system and it's screwed my W2K partition in the same way too. The prog seems to work fine, it's just me system don't now!

Time for a clean install me thinks, it's times like this I'm glad I keep all my files/important stuff on a seperate HD these days.

I have this Acronis soft installed and never had any problems with it....strange.

The only thing that can cause the system any problems is the wipe free space feature. The rest is only quite safe operations that one may do manually instead...deleting junk. But wiping free space could cause difficulties if you have bad luck. Especially if you wipe your system partition.

However I prefer East-Tec Eraser 2002.. and Pgp for full free space wipe.
