F-Secure Anti-Virus 5.41 We are pleased to release a service pack of F-Secure Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations. All customers are recommended to upgrade the software to version 5.41 as it fixes the most important problems found in version 5.40. It is now also localized to Swedish and Czech languages.

F-Secure Anti-Virus 5.40 introduces new techniques for fighting against complex network worms with smaller memory consumption. As computer viruses have become more complex and difficult to disinfect, antivirus vendors have been placed in a situation where additional utilities have been needed in order to remove viruses and worms. With F-Secure Anti-Virus 5.40, the need for additional utilities is reduced significantly. Now the software automatically disinfects even the most complex viruses without the need for you to download additional removal utilities.

Thanks to the restructuring of scanning engines, F-Secure Anti-Virus 5.40 can be run faster on low-end machines by adjusting configurations.
