      messing about for no reason what so-ever with opera and tring USER MODES i found this one ...

      NOSTALGIA and use EMULATE TEXT BROWSER for best effect

      I can see that one every day- if I use links2 as a browser (it's an old, great, console based browser for *nix, normally not needed, but a lifesaver if something goes wrong with your last update and the graphical environment does not load, no matter what you invent...).
