Unhappy Disaster ! CDRSoft bites the dust.

I suppose it was always going to happen. Unfortunately, it seems to be the ones using pop-up-killer types that have done it. Thanks, you tossers.
Anyway, whether you bring it back or not, NB, CHEERS MATE.
A job done brilliantly, and has gone down in CDRW history along with the other 2 greats, DiViDeZeRo, and Recording Underground. Both also passed on and missed terribly.

      A penny saved is ridiculous.

Thumbs up We r the best

Nobody is going to desert this forum because of the numb nuts who pissed N.B. off!
N.B., Woody and the mods and all the good members deserve the loyalty I know they'll get.
As long as this forum is open I'll be here and if it shuts I'm sure the guys will sort something out.

There has been something very special happening with this forum over the last year or so.

      Dont let it fade away!

(and dont blame N.B. who is God)

As a certain fat cartoon child often says :

      I LOVE U GUYS!

man, this f*cking sux! this has got to be by far the best web site out there. i have yet to find another to even begin to compare it with. so i guess the pay to play option is out at this point!??! well, if cdrsoft is not to rise from its ashes anew, it was a helluva fun ride. N.B., i thank you and the crew for making the site available to everyone, and am saddened to see it go. i hope you change your mind about keeping it shut down for good, but i understand your reasons if you do. again, thanx!!

I agree fully with that. I might add that the forums here are something that I have grown quite fond of as the information passed has been great. The beauty of it is that it has grown to span other than CDR related subjects and can say I have learned a lot from reading them and has prompted me to change some of the sw I was using and been happier from it.

it is sad that N.B. decided to shutdown the site. The lamers should be ashame of themselves for ruining the best cdr recording software website there was. I personally don't care about popups as long as the website has good content. I would like to thank N.B. and others who have helped the site in its success.

      Peace,

      D

Would it not be possible to use a Forced Vote main Enter page ?!?!?!?

For those who dislike the idea then its just Tough crap for them !?

maby this is the way forward for all good sites !?

A lot that i visit have this method to gain revenue!, this way there is no alternative no click no site access!

Simple but effective that it has to be clicked to enter the site!

and then more clicks to get to the download needed again tough crap if the dont like it then look elsewhere but you will not get the QUALITY that this site provides !!!

Im more than willing to keep on clicking ! sure im against stupid popups but for QUALITY THIS GOOD and almost daily updates they ARE MORE THAN worth the effort and hassle of a couple of clicks here and there!

At least the site wasent crippled like stupid sites ive been to that are an endless loop of never ending popups at least you got something worthwhile here in the end!, unlike other sites where you dont even get anywhere let alone a file!

So for all those that complained bout Popups/banners You got your own wish.........

      NO MORE POPUPS

      ........NO MORE SITE !!! =(

      hope yer all proud !!!

Whos to blame N.B. anyone would do the same in his boots/shoes there is 'NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH !!'

He gave HIS ALL and YOU gave F*&@ all what do people expect !?

N.B. whatever you decide to do good luck and RESPECT and thanks for best site and warez i have had access too =)

      Exclamation The Hackers Manifesto

Nothing to do with the current subject but it felt appropriate for the demise of a wonderful site

      This is our world now . . . .
The world of the electron and the switch, the beauty of the baud.
We make use of a service already existing without paying for what could be dirt-cheap if it wasn't run by profiteering gluttons, and you call us criminals.

We explore... and you call us criminals.
We seek after knowledge... and you call us criminals.
We exist without skin color, without nationality, without religious bias...
      and you call us criminals.

You build atomic bombs, you wage wars, you murder, cheat, and lie to us and try to make us believe it's for our own good, yet we're the criminals.

Yes, I am a criminal. My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive me for.
For I am a hacker, and this is my manifesto.
You may stop this individual, but you cannot stop us all...

After all, we're all alike, and there are many of us.
Many more than you could ever imagine . . . .

I personally detest pop-ups. However I understood from day one that where cdrsoft is concerned it was a really necessary evil, and as such it had to be suffered for the good of all. It isnt a rip off site like so many who overdo the pop-ups. And as such, I was quite happy to put up with 'em.

      A penny saved is ridiculous.
