Net Transport is a nice dl manager, 1.87.258 is the latest free version before it became shareware....
Reget Deluxe is also a good 1,with the latest versions,I prefer it before FlashGet....Reget is shareware,but no ads...

I also use the last free version of Net Transport, which works great. It's not very difficult to find it on the net.

I've been using "Download Express" for ages - www.metaproducts.com
Before the, I had "DL Expert" http://www.yanew.com/ ... dead project, thogh the 0.99, I believe, did fix the bugs that drove me away from it - quite powerful, good control. Stardownloader is worth a look - the freeware version is apparently still good, honest freeware http://www.stardownloader.com/ Free Download Manager http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ *** They flirted with NAVHELPER, but the 1.5 release is suposed to be clean! Freshdownload http://www.freshdevices.com/freshdown.html Mild spamware! When any of the 4 products are updated (not just the one you use), you will get a spamvertising email to the address you registered with (free registration required, or it times out). No other junk attributable to them though.

http://www.getright.com/statement.html They say, "no spyware", no "passengerware".
