Problems with Agent

Hey guys and gals, I'm having a new problem with Agent. If I am saving an attachment say an audio file, it comes out as a jumble of strange characters. It happens on 90% of the files I try to get. It's never happend before a few days ago. Any ideas,

maby uninstall reinstall

if it worked a few days ago then maby its got corrupted or something

You almost certainly mean the newsreader Agent, right?
It's been a long time since the last time I used it (it was the first newsreader I ever used), you might also try xnews (freeware), which I'm currently using, and I find it brilliant. It's of the same caliber of the professional version of Forti Agent (better at downloading binaries, while lacking some of the agent automation), and much better than the free Agent version.
