      Question WIN XP.iso burn

Hy again. I just downloaded(after a full 8 days) Windows XP iso. My question; whats' the best way to burn .iso files onto cd? Do you need certain software to do this, or just anything will do. All responses are welcomed. Thank You.

If you read or search the forum , you will find a lot of posts about this matter, and as you already know we dont support "these" matters anymore.

I use CDMate. No probs at all. Unlike with the over-rated CloneCD.

      A penny saved is ridiculous.

Just use Alcohol 120% (www.alcohol-software.com). It's the best (better than any other burning software).

      BurnatOnce?

The question with ISO's, though, is they can be a TRUE ISO, or ROXIO's private mangling of ISO.

Many programs will handle a true ISO - not sure if the same can be said of a ROXISO ?

AH! - I thought ROXIO made "ISO's" out of things which do not fit pure Mode1/1024
But I turn out to be wrong - the only format available is "CIF" for those - My mistake

      Iso burning.

What about nero! Start nero, cancel the popup box, goto: file\burn image, select you image, and burn. Have fun!

      U forgot:

      Remove disc, throw into bin!!

Just kidding. I use Nero but I would not trust it to burn a downloaded iso.

I thought I had heard about some problems with some ISO images when they were burned with Nero, such as not being bootable, but that's from memory, and I don't have non-volitale memory. I generally use DiscJuggler with an ISO.
