Hi bro hope you find this usefull.
If you've got a burner justback up your data with your burnin program to disk and have a look at these below. I use genie Outlook Express Backup For my emails.

      Genie Backup Manager
It backs up all your data: your files and folders, your e-mails, Microsoft Outlook Express files, Microsoft Outlook 2000/XP files, Eudora Mail, Favorites, Windows Address Book, Fonts and Desktop
Backup as a self executable EXE file: backup your data in the form of a standalone EXE file that can be executed on any machine even if Genie Backup Manager is not installed!
Backup to a remote FTP Server: This new feature provides you with more security for your data by giving you the option to backup your data to a remote FTP server
You can define and backup many of the widely used programs; thus the need to reinstall those programs is a thing of the past
“Easy 2-step Layout" and “Normal 4-step Layout”, to suit all kinds of users.
Genie Backup Manager adopts a wizard-like style to backup and restore data, which makes it very easy to use
      Integrated ZIP compression
      Backup with timestamps
Increased backup speed with advanced On-The-Fly Compression
The automatic media spanning is a feature that makes Genie Backup Manager even more flexible
Preview data and select files to be restored before starting the actual restoring process
Three easy ways to backup your data: Normal, Increment and Mirror Backup
Automatic backup scheduler enables you to start the backup process at any convenient date and time
Genie Backup Manager increases the level of security for your data by providing the option of activating password protection

Finding the ideal back-up solution isn't easy. There are many considerations to be taken of. Finding what needs to be backed up is one of them then where do you keep the copied files and how easy you can access them when restoring them comes around and what filesystem you need to restore to. Many simple backup programs want you to use packet writing for writing to CD/RW and packet writing is not ISO9660 which means you need a driver to access this filesystem under DOS. NTI's FileCD is the only one that allows packet writing and does it in ISO9660 format but is not of the drag'n drop variety. Then, if you need to restore to an NTFS partition under DOS, you will need some solution like Winternal's NTFS-DOS. I was told Dantz Retrospect can bypass these problems but have not yet tried it.

Some have suggested using WinRescueXX for backup and with its different profiles seems quite interesting if you copy to some hd partition. It does offer writing to CD but in packet writing. There's always Stomp's DLA which allows you to make the packet writing to ISO with one command but have not yet tried it.

Genie lets u backup to CDr or CDRw with packet writing (not for me) but U can also put a backup file onto your fixed drive then backup a a data Cd etc (my way)
Genie is a file backup NOT an operating system or Drive back up.
