      1. AVG Pro

      2. It's your personal choice, Nero, DiscJuggler, NTI.....

Norton (Symantec) PASSED, AVG (Grisoft) FAILED
AVG generally rates well for "non-interference" - Norton can be borderline and Mcafee tends to crap all over you.

Nero ain't a bad burn program to get with a burner - seems better reagarded than Adaptec/ROXIO stuff - though if you used ECDC before, the layout with compilation at the bottom will seem more natural than the default side by side one!

Nero is certainly a program you can live with for most common tasks - AND by virtue of overburn support, it can deal with 90/99 minute CD's if your burner supports them (ROXIO won't).
Setting up for successful "80+" use needs a little care.
